Book Signings for A  Mile Below Paradise

  •  Check back frequently for confirmed dates. Confirmations to date are as follows:
    • August 14  10 A-3P   Another amazing book signing! The three sisters who operate Mrs. Janey's House, are direct descendants of Airdrie founders. Lisa will begin signing books at 10 A.M while diners prepare for two seatings, 11 AM and 1PM.

      You do  not have to make a reservation to get a book, but if you are going to enjoy the excellent food, you will need to make a reservation by August 12. To reserve your seat quickly, call: 270-736-2821.

      The sisters will have some of their Pollock historical keepsakes on display for public viewing and A.D. Pollock will join us in traditional Scottish dress. Lisa and A.D. will be happy to sign your copy of "A Mile Below Paradise!" (You will want to get A.D. to sign your book. He is a real great grandson to one of the characters in the novel.Mrs. Janey's house

    • August 26   5:30-7PM   Lisa will be at the Hopkins County-Madisonville public library. She will speak from 5:30 to 6PM about her research, about Airdrie, and read an excerpt from her novel. Afterwards, she will sign books. A.D. Pollock, the great grandson and descendant of Airdrie's, Archie Pollock, is scheduled to attend this event in traditional Scottish dress.

Book Releases

  •  A Mile Below Paradise has been released with excellent reception from readers. The book was available on July 10th and sold so quickly,  it is now in its 2nd printing.
  • The second novel in the Kentucky Treasures Series, Secrets of the Asylum, is scheduled to be released December, 2010.
  • Lisa is working on plans for another history non-fiction work. This work should be in print 2011.
